           My first time in Tuam hole! On Friday the 22nd I was going on my first trip to Tuam hole with my parents and Aoife. I was very excited! I was going to try out freestyle properly for the first time! Once we were all ready we had to cross a road to get to the river. When we got there, there was another person already getting in. They were doing some cool surfing. Aoife, my mum and I did some warm ups, while we waited for my dad. When I got into the water, I was both nervous and very excited. We first talked about ferry-gliding. Aoife told me my PEAS Position, Edge, Angle and Speed. Then we ferry-glided over to an eddy on the other side. I think I ferry-glided over well, I'm not sure. After Aoife and I did a few ferry-glides back and forth Aoife thought I was ready to go into the hole. I was very excited and nervous. Aoife went first.
